2016 Ford Escape
The 2016 Ford Escape is a compact crossover sport utility vehicle. Buyers may choose between three engines: a 2.5-liter independent variable cam design (iVCT), a 1.5-liter EcoBoost ® iVCT, or a 2.0-L EcoBoost ® with a twin-scroll turbocharger. The standard SE model gets 22 miles per gallon in the city and 33 on the highway and is a front-wheel drive. Ford also offers technology features to alert its driver of lane drift, activity in the driver’s blind spot, and auto-maneuvering into tight parking spots. The available Ford SYNC 3 ® communication and entertainment system is an eight-inch LCD touch screen interface which comes with voice-recognition technology. It can be hooked up to a smartphone to listen to music, navigate, and make phone calls.
2016 Ford Edge
The Ford Edge features a recent redesign. It is a mid-size SUV that seats five and comes with 39.2 cubic feet of storage space. The second row of seats may be folded down to increase room for cargo. The Ford Edge comes standard with front-wheel drive, a six-speed, shiftable automatic transmission, and a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine with 245 horsepower. It offers a fuel economy rating of 20 miles per gallon in the city and 30 on the highway. It comes available with voice-activated SYNC ® or SYNC 3 ® technology, which includes hands-free calling and multimedia features. 2016 Ford Flex
The Flex is a full-size SUV that offers flexibility for both passenger seating and cargo. It has a unique, boxy design and three rows of seats which can be configured to seat up to seven passengers or folded down to store more cargo—the maximum cargo capacity is over 80 cubic feet. The basic model comes with a six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, a 3.5-liter V6 engine, and front wheel drive. The Flex offers a fuel economy of 16 miles per gallon in the city and 23 miles per gallon on the highway. Safety features include a high-strength steel structure, a front-passenger sensing system, a rollover sensor and AdvanceTrac ® with Roll Stability Control™, as well as front- and front-seat side-impact airbags and available inflatable safety belts. Like Ford’s other models, it can be equipped with the SYNC ® or SYNC 3 ® entertainment and communication system to assist with navigation, making calls, or listening to music.
2016 Ford Explorer
The 2016 Ford Explorer is a large and powerful SUV that comes standard with a 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine, six-speed shiftable automatic transmission, and front wheel drive. An intelligent all-wheel drive system is available as an upfit. The Ford Explorer has a fuel economy rating of 17 miles per gallon in the city and 24 miles per gallon on the highway. It comes with ample cargo space and adaptable seats, though it can seat up to seven passengers when all seats are up.
